theatrale subversion Dresden & stellwerk weimar e.V. (D)
… or how do we want to live?
The issue of our social fabric, our moral concepts and a sustainable mode of living is being hotly debated. What opinions, ideas and visions do young people have? The theatre and performance collective theatrale subversion from Dresden and the youth theatre stellwerk weimar invited eight young people to explore these questions with the aim of drafting an alternative microsociety.
In workshops, discussions and theatrical explorations they engage with themes such as art, philosophy, communication, work and love. «Mikropolis» is not just social theory, it is vibrant utopia. The audience encounter the performers and walk through several spaces with them.
In a combination of theatre, interactive performance and installation they exchange views, discuss ideas and come up with solutions – irrespective of prevailing conventions and relevant for the time after the show as well.
