On their tour through Thuringia, this gang of robbers bewitches every venue into a carnival
Wham! Pow! Bang! Daughters lock up your mums and put the Pfeffi on ice: the Rumpel Pumpel Theater is coming somewhere near you. The anarchic acting troupe offers sparking entertainment and mirror ball jewels for everyone aged between 6 and 103. Now, following ‘Loli Jackson auf der Suche nach dem Sinn von Allem’ and ‘Im Brandzeichen des astronomischen Pferdes’, they will put on ‘Hotel im Karussell’ outside chruches, builders’ merchants and boarding schools.
All the usual fairground craziness you would expect amid the roller coaster, tombola and drop tower will happen here. Follow the comments of the world’s best barker Jackomo Jackson as you accompany Lassie Jason and Graf Adelmann
zu Bad Reiniger on their way through the weird loops of local history in search of the cursed joke almanac – until the last blank has been drawn. Rest assured: this pony ride of offbeat entertainment will keep a spare horse for you.
Not only the Ostthüringer Zeitung liked the collective's last production when they wrote: “Liberally sprinkled with music and songs, this is the mobile Rumpel Pumpel Theater, which certainly lives up to its name. They deliberately bring their play to town in rough and ready form and plonk it down in front of us with sheer delight. (...) Full of wonderful daft ideas. Untamed city theatre that’s not socially exclusive.” Maik from Gotha also found: “Just sick!”
