»KI: Der Tod des Internet«

Lichthaus Kino

The internet as we know it is dying – suffocating under a flood of AI-generated junk. Automated bots swamp Amazon with fake books, Spotify with meaningless music and Google with empty advice. While we are debating job losses and superintelligence, the digital knowledge space is already drowning in synthetic trash. Search engines are losing their sense of direction and in their bafflement are contributing to their own abolition. Will we soon only be fed with AI-processed information instead of doing our own research? “AI: The Death of the Internet” investigates this tidal wave of garbage and searches between digital flood barriers for a way of establishing a new web that is capable of surviving. After the screening, director and film author Mario Sixtus will be available for a discussion.
