3. General information on data processing

We only process the personal data of users of this website to the extent necessary to provide a fully functional website and deliver our content and services. Personal data is any information that can be used to identify you personally.

4. Website provision and hosting

We use Mittwald CM Service GmbH & Co. to host our website. KG.

When you access the website, information is automatically transmitted from your browser to our server and stored in server log files. This includes your IP address, the date and time of access, which page you accessed, your browser type and version, your operating system, and the referrer URL.

This data is processed for technical reasons, in order to provide the website and ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

We have a data processing contract with the hosting service provider in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.

5. Server statistics

We use the server statistics provided by the hosting provider for the technical analysis and optimisation of the website. These statistics are based on server log data. These statistics are not combined with any other data, nor are any personal user profiles created.

The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

6. Cookies

We do not use cookies for analytical, tracking or marketing purposes on our website. Only the data that is technically necessary is processed as part of the server log files.

7. Contacting us by email

Any data you provide when contacting us by email will be processed solely for the purpose of dealing with your enquiry.

This is in accordance with either Article 6(1)(b) or Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

This data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing, unless there are any statutory retention obligations.

8. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will only use your email address to send you the newsletter.

This is sent via the Mailchimp service, which is provided by Intuit Inc., 2700 Coast Avenue, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. We have a data processing agreement with Mailchimp in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.

When using Mailchimp, personal data may be transferred to the USA. This transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in accordance with Article 46 of the GDPR, and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

Registration currently takes place via the single opt-in procedure. Registration takes effect immediately upon submission of the registration form, and no additional confirmation by email is required. The time of registration and the IP address are stored.

The legal basis for sending you the newsletter is your consent, in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, for example by clicking the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.

9. Workshop registration (easyfeedback)

We provide a link to surveys run by the provider easyfeedback GmbH to register for workshops. When you complete the registration form, your data will be transmitted directly to EasyFeedback, where it will be processed on behalf of Kunstfest Weimar in accordance with the Data Processing Agreement (DPA). You can find details regarding the nature, scope and purpose of data processing, as well as your rights, in the privacy notice for the relevant survey.

10. Ticket sales

Tickets can be purchased either from the appointed ticketing service provider of Deutsches Nationaltheater und Staatskapelle Weimar. Accessing the ticketing page will take you to a different website. The relevant ticketing provider’s privacy policy applies to the processing of personal data.

11. Job applications

If job vacancies are advertised on our website, applications must be submitted to Deutsches Nationaltheater und Staatskapelle Weimar. They are the only party to process application data. The relevant privacy policy of Deutsches Nationaltheater und Staatskapelle Weimar applies.

Our website contains links to social media platforms only. No data is automatically transferred to these providers when you visit our website. You will only leave our website when you click on a link. The operators of these platforms are solely responsible for processing personal data on them.
