The captivating performance by a virtuoso ensemble of artists from Johannesburg is rooted in the rhythmic movement languages of isiPantsula, ndlamu, and setapa. Creating a percussive soundscape with typewriters, sewing machines, crates, and sounds of labor, the work becomes a powerful meditation on survival, dignity and resistance.
