A small town somewhere in America. The projectionist Buster loves a girl who is in love with someone else. This results in theft, slander and exclusion and Buster escapes into a dream where what should happen does happen. When he wakes up, everything is explained. What remains is one of the best films of all time: brilliant trick techniques and analogue special effects are used along with neck-breaking stunts. Keaton sustained one of these himself, which only came to light after an X-ray was taken years later. See for yourself!
