Tickets for the Kunstfest Weimar are available both online via the respective event pages and at the box office of the DNT Weimar.

Upon presentation of the supporting documents:

€10.50 for all seats, subject to availability, for apprentices, students up to age 29, and those performing voluntary service.

€9 for all seats (depending on availability), for school students through 13th grade

€1 for recipients of basic income support and refugees, depending on availability at the box office

20 % discount for visitors with disabilities (GdB 50 or higher). Tickets for accompanying persons (mark »B«) are available at the theatre’s box office.

20 % discount for Festplatz subscribers of all theaters in Thuringia

No discounts apply to tickets priced under €10.01. Discounts cannot be combined. For certain events, only limited discounts are available. Please bring the relevant proof of discount with you when attending the event. All prices include the cultural promotion tax for the City of Weimar: 50 cents for tickets up to €15, 70 cents for tickets up to €40, and 90 cents for tickets priced at €40.01 or higher.

The box offices at the venues open one hour before the start of each event. Please pick up your reserved tickets at the venue no later than 30 minutes before the event begins. Please note that late admission is not permitted for some events.

We hope that many people will visit the Weimar Art Festival and feel comfortable and safe there—regardless of gender, sexual orientation, religion, social background, or disability.

Many events are accessible to people with limited mobility and feature accessible restrooms. Feel free to use the »Wheelchair-accessible« filter in the event calendar to view specific events.

Visitors who would like to attend the festival with an assistance dog are asked to notify us in advance at → besuch@kunstfest-weimar.de so that we can make the best possible arrangements for your visit.

Selected events are translated into → German Sign Language, provided with German and English subtitles, or are presented without spoken language.

We also provide selected content in → Easy Read and, soon, in → German Sign Language.

For selected events, seats with induction loops or portable induction loops are available for people with hearing impairments. You can find information about this in the respective event descriptions and as a filter option in the calendar.

The event on August 26, → Frei_Spiel X – Das große Ganze will be offered with audio description.
For interested visitors, a tactile tour will also be offered before the event on August 26. It begins at 6:45 p.m., and the meeting point is the foyer of the Redoute.

Unfortunately, we are not yet able to provide quiet rooms at the Kunstfest. At some events – such as → Gratte Ciel: RoZéO in the Ilmpark Weimar – it is, however, perfectly possible to leave the venue for a while and return later.

We are constantly working to break down barriers. However, there are currently events and venues that are not fully accessible to everyone.

Discriminatory or inappropriate behavior is incompatible with the values of the Kunstfest Weimar. At the same time, we recognize that such situations can still arise. We do not currently have an awareness team; however, we are working to establish appropriate structures in the future.
