Workshop: »Electric Paint – creating an interactive exhibition wall«

Help design an interactive exhibition display to mark the 250th anniversary of the Weimar School of Painting and Drawing. Using conductive paint, we’ll explore the boundaries between the visual arts, technology, programming and design. The installation will be on display at the Weimar City Museum as part of the anniversary exhibition ‘Oder kann das weg?’ from 4 September 2025 to 14 February 2027. For children and young adults aged 11 to 21.

»Porcelain Design« Workshop

In the workshop, porcelain mugs will be printed on and painted using a variety of colours. The underglaze paint used is a tried-and-tested technique for personalising plain porcelain mugs and adding the finishing touches. They will then be glazed and fired at the Isa Schreiber studio, where they will be ready for you to collect. All materials are provided free of charge.

Workshop »Tatreez«

Discover the art of Tatreez, traditional Palestinian embroidery. In this two-hour workshop with Kulturbrücke Palästina Thüringen, participants will learn the basics of this unique craft tradition and embroider their first patterns together. At the same time, the workshop offers the opportunity to chat with Palestinians, hear their stories and learn more about Palestinian culture and the realities of life there. No prior experience is required.
